Title: The Capital Markets Authority Announces Filing a Report with the Prosecutor General Regarding the Occurrence of Crime

The Capital Markets Authority announces filing a report with the Prosecutor General on 03/09/2025 regarding the occurrence of the crime stipulated in Articles (63), (122), and (124) of Law No. 7 of 2010 Regarding the Establishment of the Capital Markets Authority and Regulating Securities Activities and its amendments, and Article (21) of Law No. 3 of 2006 Regarding Press and Publications, criminalized by the provision of Article (6) of the Cybercrime Law No. 63 of 2015 . The defendants have executed illegal transactions on the share of Real Estate Trade Centers Company (Marakez) during the period extending from 4/3/2025 to 24/7/2025, through executing previously coordinated and repeated transactions, and published rumors and misleading and false statements that led to increasing momentum on the share, significant increase in its value, and attracting the public investors to deal on the share and purchase it in artificial prices, which enabled them to achieve illegal gains.
