Title: Press Release: Gulf Investment Awareness Program “Mulim” Launches Third Season of “Gulf Smart Investor Award” with Over SAR 1 Million in Prizes
Kuwait, September 3, 2024- The Gulf Investment Awareness Program "Mulim" announced the launch of the third season of the "Gulf Smart Investor Award " on September 1, 2024. Targeting citizens and residents of the Gulf Cooperation Council countries, the award offers a total prize pool exceeding one million Saudi Riyals.
Submissions will be accepted until the end of February 2025. The award aims to encourage creativity among university students, school students and individuals from across the Gulf countries through four categories: video production, drawing, photography, and writing. A total of 44 winners will be selected, with 11 winners in each category. This initiative seeks to promote financial literacy, highlight the importance of saving and investing, and educate the public on how to avoid financial fraud. Ultimately, the goal is to empower individuals to make financial decisions and achieve financial stability.
The award also aims to enhance financial literacy by providing individuals with necessary skills and tools to effectively manage their finances
A specialized committee comprised of experts in each category will evaluate the submissions and select the winners. The venue and date of the award ceremony will be announced at a later time.
The previous two editions of the award were highly successful, attracting over 47,000 participants. The prize pool has been increased from 275,000 Saudi Riyals to one million Saudi Riyals, and the writing category has been added to the existing categories of video, photography, and drawing. The number of winners has also increased from nine in the first season to 36 in the second season.
It is worth noting that the Gulf Investment Awareness Program "Mulim" was launched under the authority of the General Secretariat of the Cooperation Council for the Arab States of the Gulf with the participation of the securities authorities in the Gulf Cooperation Council countries, in order to raise awareness of financial transactions and investments in capital markets through various awareness campaigns and events.
